This Agua Nueva agate shows nice deep blue swirling around tube botryoidal. It makes an awesome display, or it could be cut carefully for neat designer-grade cabochons. If cabbing this, I would incorporate the druzy with the blue agate, transitioning from the face to the druzy botryoidal.

Agua Nueva Agate is impressive material from Mexico near the Laguna Agate mining area. While it can sometimes have fortification, it's more commonly high-contrast, well-defined moss agate. The material tends to be fairly hard and solid, taking a mirror polish for exceptional jewelry. Agua Nueva translates to "New Water" agate and comes from the Agua Nueva Ranch.
