This listing is for ONE random pull 2 1/2 Inch Polished Selenite Egg! Each egg has an awesome Fiber Optic like effect, in that it has a prism that runs through it while turning under the right lighting conditions! Each one is beautiful, with some inclusions within. These are from a Selenite Quarry in Morocco!
These make excellent displays, are great for any collection, and can also be a great starter stone for kids! Selenite is relatively stable, but for the most part you want to avoid long periods in water. These do react to water over time, which is interesting as Selenite is Calcium Sulfate with a water molecule attached ( CaSO4 · H2O )! Selenite is a form of Gypsum.
For those with Metaphysical interests, Selenite is known as a cleansing and charging crystal. It is also believed to reduce negative energy, while clearing energy blockages. It is used to lower anxiety and depression, while uplifting oneself with positive energy. Selenite sometimes goes by the name of "Liquid Light" in the Metaphysical world.
