Here is a gorgeous cabochon of what I believe to be Texas Fossil Palm Root, though to be completely honest, I'm not 100% sure of this identification. One thing is certain though, its a stunning cabochon of Fossil Wood! This has been polished! With some further work, it could make a fantastic jewelry piece, but as it is it makes a stunning display or pocket charm!This one does have a chip on the bottom. Please view the last photo. It does not effect stability and should not keep you from doing anything with it, it was just a chip that occurred during the grinding process.Measurements (inches - longest - approx): 1.61 x 1.03 x .256All Cabochons come with a free cotton padded jewelry box and a cleaning cloth!
