Description

This is from the collection of a rockhound who did have some Skaggs Jasper, but it was not certain whether or not this one was some of it.  It does however look like it more than likely is.  Please look at all the photos.  this one does have some fractures you will have to work around.

Skaggs Jasper is an extraordinarily rare form of Jasper found in the Ochoco Mountains of Oregon. To my knowledge Skaggs Jasper has been tapped out for decades, with none really being found other than in old estate collections. It is a dominate green jasper, and often features organic like structures. It can work into some very beautiful designer grade cabochons, and has become increasingly popular because of this. When you see a chunk of Skaggs Jasper, you don't want to miss out.

Photos are generally taken wet to simulate a polish.

Weight: Approx 2 lbs 9 oz

Measurements (inches - longest - approx): 4.8 x 3.7 x 4.2

I do my best to represent the stones with photos.  I don't enhance photos, though sometimes brightness and contrast on monitors may differ, and while a photo may look just like the rock on my end, it will sometimes appear brighter or duller on your end.  I run my monitor at default brightness and contrast settings.
