Description
Kowallabe Quartzite is a rare form of newly discovered quartzite from Australia. It often features gorgeous paint stroke-like feathery patterns with red, gold, black, and light blue colorations. It cuts beautifully and makes some very nice cabs. It can also take a nice polish. This is one our shop and customers are quickly falling in love with, and if you haven't already, we have a feeling you will too. It does break sharp, please be careful handling it. Check out this gorgeous metamorphic sister to Jasper from the Australian Outback. Quartzsite (Quartzite) is formed when sandstone is put under high heat and pressure.
Photos are generally taken wet to simulate what a polish would look like.
Weight: Approx 1 lbs 15.1 oz
Measurements (inches - longest - approx): 4.8 x 3.4 x 3.4
I do my best to represent the stones with photos. I don't enhance photos, though sometimes brightness and contrast on monitors may differ, and while a photo may look just like the rock on my end, it will sometimes appear brighter or duller on your end. I run my monitor at default brightness and contrast settings.
